Volvo Enthusiasts Club Spring Rally – 6th April, 2008:
The Volvo Enthusiasts Club Spring Rally was this year held at The American Museum in Bath. Despite the extreme weather many Members braved the snow to attend the first Club Gathering of 2008. Members on arrival were greeted with a refreshments in the Tea-room and followed by a Free Entrance and Guided Tour of the Museum with The Museum houses a collection of how American lived from the time of the early European settlers to The American Civil War, a collection of wonderful quilts, Native American objects and Folk Law and rooms including a replica C18 tavern with home-cooked gingerbread. There is also was also a superb garden and of course the house – Claverton Manor.  We were particularly fortunate that while we were visiting there was a Special Exhibition on the TITANIC, including items from the ship and how its sinking effected the USA.
As with all our events there were awards for attending members and their cars. Results were as follows:

A great day was had by all. Particular thanks to Matt and Dave Stadden and Rob Greenwood for their held in hosting/organising the day.
